VIDEO: Activist confronts senator in bathroom and asks to support Biden reform for immigrants.
A group of activists followed Democratic Senator Kyrsten Sinema to an Arizona State University bathroom to demand that she address immigration issues.
The activists, apparently university students, confronted the senator outside the classroom where she teaches and followed her to the bathroom while filming the incident.
“We knocked on doors for you to be chosen. Just as we got you elected, we can remove you from office if you do not support what you promised us, 'threatened an activist.
"I was brought to the United States when I was three years old and in 2010 my grandparents were deported because of the 1070 law and I am here because I definitely believe that we need a path to citizenship," the activist told him.
“My grandfather passed away two weeks ago and I couldn't go to Mexico to visit him because there is no path to citizenship. And if we have the opportunity to approve it right now, we have to do it because there are millions of undocumented people, like me, who share the same history, "he claimed.
“We knocked on doors for you to be chosen. Just as we made you win, we can remove you from office if you don't support what you promised us, ”an activist threatened.
The activists asked Sinema to support the Build Back Better program President Joe Biden , which would provide a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants.
“I am a survivor of human trafficking and it is because of the lack of labor protection that we do not have. I need you to support the workers… ”, said another activist before the video was cut, while the senator ignored them.
